Thank you for participating in the 2021 MEI-Center Summer School

The 2021 MEI-Center Summer School was held online from the 4th to the 6th of August.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic limited our ability to hold the Summer School last year, we decided to hold it this year as an online event.
This year’s theme was “Bioengineering and Mechanobiology：From molecules to cells and organisms.”
About 40 students from various Asian countries participated.
The international symposium with the same theme was also held as part of the Summer School on August 6th.
We thank the participants and presenters for their contributions and participation in the active exchange of opinions. We also hope that this Summer School, both through its scientific and social programs, was fruitful for all the participants.
2021年8月4日から6日までの3日間、MEIセンターSummer School 2021を開催しました。
昨年はコロナ禍のため実施を見送りましたが、今年はオンラインでの開催とし、アジアの様々な国から定員を超える多くの学生の方にご参加いただきました。
今年のテーマである「Bioengineering and Mechanobiology：From molecules to cells and organisms」について、2日間Zoomにて講義を行い、活発な意見交換が行われました。
また、同テーマで行った3日目のシンポジウムではサマースクール参加者以外にも多くの方にご視聴いただき、盛況のうちに終了いたしました。
